HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO MY DADDY. HE WAS MY ROCK AND MY HERO. I LOVED MY DAD AND WILL NEVER STOP MISSING HIM. HE PASSED AWAY IN 1988 WAITING FOR A HEART TRANSPLANT. HE HAD VIRAL CARDIOMYOPATHY. HE DIED A FEW MONTHS AFTER THIS PHOTO. MY DAD HAD BEAUTIFUL HAIR. BLACK WITH GREY MIXED IN. HE LOVED FRANK SINATRA AND DEAN MARTIN. HE HAD A GREAT LAUGH. HE ALWAYS MADE YOU FEEL SPECIAL. HE LOVED TO COOK AND HE LOVED TO GAMBLE. HE LOVED LIFE AND HOLIDAYS. HE MADE THEM ALL SPECIAL. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO DANCE AND BOUGHT ME MY FIRST RECORD PLAYER WHEN I WAS 6.WE DANCED TO STAGGER LEE.HE TAUGHT ME TO RIDE A BIKE AND TIE MY SHOES. HE COULD CHARM THE BIRDS RIGHT OUT OF THE TREES, WHICH MY MOTHER SAID WAS A TRAIT I INHERITED FROM DAD. LOL!!!HE TOOK US RIDING ON CHRISTMAS EVE AFTER THE PARTY WAS OVER AND WE WOULD LOOK IN AWE AT THE BEAUTIFUL LIGHTS IN DOWNTOWN.HE DRIED MY TEARS AND HELD MY HAND. HE LOVED CARTOONS AND LAUGHED. HIS FAVE WAS ROAD RUNNER AND CHARLIE BROWN.HIS FAVE MOVIE WAS MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY.HE DIED TOO SOON. I FEEL ROBBED OF MY FATHER. I NEED HIM SOMETIMES WHEN I FEEL LIKE LIFE IS AT BEST JUST TOO PAINFUL.OR IN THE GOOD TIMES AS WELL I MISS HIM. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN CRAZY OVER ALL THE GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.BUT THIS IS LIFE. AND I HAVE TO ACCEPT IT AND BECAUSE OF JESUS I CAN. SO TODAY, I WANT TO DEDICATE MY BLOG TO MY DAD WHOM I WILL ALWAYS LOVE AND MISS. HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!
LOVE, CANDILOU
