Martha's garden just starting to bloom!!
A rose peaking out in Martha's Garden!!
They say in life you can count the number of true friends on one hand. I believe this to be true! I have exactly that number. My true blue, knows me better than anyone friend is Martha. We have been best buds for 20 yrs.She is the same age as my Mom but My Mom passed away. The Lord knew I needed Martha. To guide me, to scold me and to call when I am happy and even whem I am sad. Someone to call and say "What was in that recipe again?"She has blessed my life in so many ways. And I wanted to dedicate my blog to her today. She is also my Sunday School teacher and is an awesome Prophecy teacher. She is an amazing landscaper and even owns her own company. I remember one time on my birthday, I came home from work and she had a crew there and had completely landscaped my yard!!!!I have never in my life beem so surprised and thankful!!So if you have a best friend. One that just loves you without fail. That you never want to lose, be sure and make it known how much they mean to you. Visit them. Call them or send cards. Hug them tightly and savour your times of togetherness because you don't want them to slip away!!AsI said before, You can count your true friends on one hand. One!!So go make a phone call!!
PRIM BLESSINGS,
CANDILOU
You are so right, Candi! One of my "count-'em-on-one-hand" best friends passed away with cancer 6 years ago. She died one month after her diagnosis. We never know what will happen to any of us, so its SO very important to tell our bestest, closest friends that we love them!! Glad you posted about your friend Martha!---Diane Dodd
