Twas the night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas would bring me a bear. The cats were all nestled and snug in our bed and I was dreaming of buckets, bowls and tinware. When out on the roof I heard such a clatter I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow gave a luster of midday to objects below. It was Santa Clause I could see ,headed straight over to Lloyd and me. I watched as he worked and loaded with presents, he placed them each one right under my tree. I went to get Lloyd and we watched with glee as he filled our stockings with lots of money. Then I heard him Exclaim er he drove out of sight Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!
