At Pelly's

I went to Kentucky yesterday to visit my friend Gayle McClard the owner/proprieter of Mcclards antiques. We went to Pelly's Farm in Smiths Grove Ky. I LOVE this place. There were wagons full of PUMPKINS,gourds, and mums everywhere. Pelley's is a farm and Esli the owner ( A darling lady) has taken a huge barn and turned it into a prim shop/produce type thing. The BARN is full of real primitives. Jars of homemade salsa, jelly's and jam's ,honey etc. There was pumpkins for sale, corn stalks, baskets, old chairs , you name it. I also enjoyed the 4-5 little cabins dotted around the farm that was full of prims for sale!!!There were chickens running around. Bunnies in a cage and baby calves , Man a dream place for this city girl!!I love going there, did I mention that? We had a great time and stopped for a sandwich and enjoyed the day. I hope sometimes if you are in that area of Ky you will go to Smith's grove. You won't be disappointed!!
